LEXINGTON, S.C. -- A man who thought he was going out with a woman he met through an online dating site instead ended up arrested, accused of missing more than $5,000 in court-ordered child support payments.

Investigators learned last week Todd had been logging on to a dating site, and a female detective contacted him on the site and included her picture, Metts said.

When Todd got to the campground, he recognized the woman as an officer and tried to run. But the woman, along with a fellow officer, caught and arrested him, the sheriff said.
